Dr. Zulfer attended Texas A&M University (whoop!) where she earned a bachelor degree in Biomedical Science. She then attended the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where she obtained her medical degree. During her time in medical school, she served as state and national representative for the UNTHSC Pediatrics Club.
She completed a 3-year Pediatric Medicine residency with the University of Oklahoma in Tulsa and was board-certified in Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics in 2020.
Dr. Zulfer and her family have lived in the area for the last 4 years. She has experience in broad scope primary care pediatrics covering a large patient population in the outpatient setting along with healthy and emergent newborns/children in the hospital setting. She has served as Neonatal Medical Director and additionally held roles as Secretary/Treasurer and Vice Chief of Staff on a hospital’s Medical Executive Committee.
